The CAEP26 Lead Resident team plays an important role in connecting trainees with the planning and execution of Canada’s national emergency medicine conference. These residents contribute to program development, help guide trainee engagement, and support key conference initiatives in the lead-up to CAEP26 in Winnipeg.

This is a unique leadership opportunity to influence the tone, content, and energy of the conference while representing the perspectives of the next generation of emergency physicians.

MEET FADY!

Dr. Fady Sulaiman is a current CCFP-EM Resident based in Winnipeg. He moved from Ontario for his final year of residency and has since decided to make Winnipeg his new home, drawn by the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency care setting. His interests in emergency medicine are broad, with particular focus on optimizing team functioning during resuscitation, simulation-based learning, and medical education. Outside of the Emergency Department, he enjoys writing and reading poetry, playing bass guitar as a passionate rock ’n’ roll fan, and visiting the zoo to learn about animals, including spending time with his tortoiseshell cat, Lizzie.
