Dr. Kayla Furlong is emergency physician in St. John's, NL and an Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Emergency Medicine at Memorial University where she leads their research programming for Faculty members and learners.

Her academic and research focus lies within geriatric emergency medicine. She is currently the Chair of CAEP's Geriatric Emergency Medicine Committee. When not working, she enjoys walking her dogs and hiking the East Coast Trail.
